The Song List

Thought I’d give you guys the official song list of The Leet World soundtrack, which should be out within a week.

  • The Leet World Theme Jam (heard at the end of the Season Finale)
  • The Producer
  • Dust 2 Dust (formerly Ambush at Bombsite B… it’s undergone some revisions)
  • Domination Man Cometh (a fully fleshed out version of the Domination Man’s theme)
  • If It Bleeds (heard during the hunt for the Domination Man in Episode 8 )
  • Wrong Side of the Hax (the main battle music)
  • Attack of the Noob (Ahmad vs. Cortez, given the video game dungeon orchestral makeover)
  • Ocho Muertos (the rocking beat heard at the end of Episode 13)
  • Challenge Activated
  • End of All Things
  • Bonus Tracks: TLW Theme, TLW Podcast Theme, TLW Ninja Theme (Jace’s mysterious entry into the Themetacular contest)

While we’re not ready to give the full price just yet, we will say that buying the album all at once comes in at under $10. Songs will also be available individually, and in bundles of 3 as well.

Edit: My bad. In case I wasn’t clear, this will be only available through download initially, here at the site. PayPal will be the primary means of purchasing. Hope that clears things up!

    1st!!!

ALso, what currency is that? Because i’m over at New Zealand, the prices might be different here πŸ™‚

BTW, cant wait for it to come out!

hhahahahaha second, but thats ok, I <3 those songs so mucho.!!

yay i hope it’s not expensive!

We do live in a world of douches, so yes, it’s more than likely. It stinks that that’s the way it is, but I mean, we’re not trying to get rich here, we’re just trying to support what we do so we can keep providing content to people for free.

That’s the beauty of the Internet, and hopefully people respect that we work hard so that they can be entertained. Ideally, people would want to give back and help us ensure that we can continue doing this. We can’t do it out of our own pockets forever. Pirating and stealing just hurts everyone involved, here.

Looks good, can’t think of anything you guys may have left out…… Nope

Oh, and will it be available on the website or iTunes, or BOTH?

  5. Eddy

We want to put it on iTunes, but that process is complicated and takes awhile, so we’ll see. We’re going to get it up and running on the site first for sure.

  6. Pwezem

Awesome guys. I was waiting for this for ages, especially TLW Jam at the end of the finale.
Maybe you guys should sell it the way Litfuse sold their Music
Much handier for non Itunes user like myself, and those who do use it can just convert it

  7. Spiritos Asper

Will I be able to buy the album with paypal?
It’s sort of the only way I can buy stuff online…

  8. Eddy

Initially we’ll only be doing this online through download, as shipping and all of that stuff offers a whole new set of problems.

Would it be possible to offer the non-vamped version of the songs? you said that some of the songs got altered , but i would hope it will be possible to get the originals also

Not sure what the logic is there. The idea behind extending and re-working the songs was to make them worth the price and give you folks more value. The “original” versions are just incidental cues, not much to them.

Was jut wondering, as asked in my “1st” post (:P), what currency is it in? USD, or..? Its just because when it comes out, i wanna know the full price in New Zealand Dollars, to see if i can buy it or not πŸ™‚

Finally, after logging in again and again I’m in!

Anyways this soundtrack sounds like GOLD! It a shame people are going to pirate it, you deserve something better.

  13. LotsofLuck

Ok, finally figured out how to log in.

Yea, agree with Mid3y, I can’t wait for the soundtrack. I’d like to see this eventually on iTunes, but like you said, that’ll probably take sometime. Maybe this will encourage me to get a Paypal account.

  14. Mr Leet

IF thats the case, you missed the point, it should be 16.83 NZD, but if not, then i’m still buying it. πŸ˜›

Couldn’t you add to iTunes? You can add the podcast to iTunes, wouldn’t this be just as easy? Because i don’t like using Paypal…

But i will still probebly buy though, will it have an album artwork? I think it would look awesome on my iPod…

  16. Eddy

Well like I said, we’re going to try, but it’s more complicated and takes a while. Selling stuff is complicated enough as is, so we’re just trying to take it slowly, one step at a time, to make sure we do it right. We’ve never done this before, so attacking it on all fronts would be overwhelming for sure.

Podcasts are easy to get added to the iTunes Store because you can’t charge for them and Apple has made the process open to anyone. Selling your music on iTunes is a whole other ball of wax, simply because Apple only deals with record labels or companies like CDBaby.

We’ve looked into the particulars of that process, and everything we’ve found says that can take months to reach final approval. Considering the soundtrack was only just given the final polishing within the last week, you guys would be looking at having to wait a lot longer to buy DRMed versions in iTunes.

The nice thing about E-Junkie is that we can start selling as soon as we have everything ironed out on our end. There’s no approval process to speak of. We can also provide whatever format we want – MP3s without DRM, in this case.

Also, I’ve checked, and E-Junkie accepts Paypal, Google Checkout, and something called Authorize.net which appears to mean you can pay with a credit card (not for sure on that one). Paypal is going to be the primary payment option when we release, but if it’s workable to add the other payment options, we will.

Needless to say, this is the best option available to us to sell this music right now and get it into your hands. We are totally going to look into other options for further on down the line, but they’ll all take a while.

So iTunes is more trouble then it’s worth, but isn’t that the same story as everything else made by Apple?

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys (Jace) would look in to putting it up on Napster. On Napster, anyone who pays 15 bucks a month for membership can stream your music, or download it in .wav or mp3 (no DRM) for a dollar.

Of course, I don’t know the process required to do this, but there are plenty of independent records on there. Just a thought.

  19. Eddy

Oh yeah, we’re totally up for suggestions. I hadn’t considered Napster before, but once this stuff is going and we’re confident with it here, we for sure want to go to other venues. Thanks for that one.

The process for adding music to iTunes and Napster and pretty much any other digital music store is actually the same for a tiny independent artist like us πŸ™‚

You go through a company like CDBaby:
