The Old Dusty Trail

Gentlemen, we had a good run. Smooth Few Films is on indefinite hiatus.

This update has been a couple of months in the making, and I apologize for not doing it sooner. To be honest, I didn’t really know how to say it, and I was kind of heartsick about even writing it. I’ve also been busy with a lot of stuff in my personal life from work to writing a novel and I avoided it because I knew it would pain me to write it. But now that comments have come over to my personal blog queue about this site I felt like it was time to do something. So again, I apologize to those of you who have checked back here every day hoping for an update. I know there are quite a few of you (thanks to the wonder of Google Analytics) and it for real means the world that there’s that kind of dedication to our bumbling Internet troupe.

The reasons for the indefinite hiatus are fairly easy to explain. For one, Daniel moved to L.A. a month or two back in order to follow his dreams as a film dude. Him and Jace are living together and doing awesome things. I fully expect them to hit some big successes out there, and will probably update this blog to let you guys know about them whenever they happen. Daniel was always the talented one, so him leaving was what really solidified the decision for us.

Beyond that, we really did burn ourselves out from 2 plus years of throwing everything we had at Smooth Few Films. It may not have looked like much, but we gave up the majority of our free time, thousands of dollars and sacrificed a few opportunities and friendships along the way. We did all of that because we loved telling stories, and tried to do our best to tell a couple of fun ones.

Truth be told, the most fun part of the whole thing for me was seeing the way you guys, our community, really latched on to what we were doing and how you reacted to it each and every step of the way. I seriously go back through comments of old Leet World episodes sometimes, just to relive the excitement you all had for the stuff we made. I can’t speak for the other guys, but for me, that totally made it worth all of the time we toiled.

Is this the end of us working together? Not by any means. As I’ve maintained (and why I put this post off), we’ve got lots of things we want to do… eventually. What the magical conditions are and what stars have to align for that to happen is anyone’s guess. When/if the indefinite status changes, you guys will be the first to know. Believe me, I’m rooting for it.

Without being cheesy, all I can say is that I love you dudes and I’ve always appreciated the love you’ve thrown back our way, when we really didn’t deserve it. You guys are awesome.

-Eddy, signing off.

    Thanks for the update.
I have appreciated the laughs all these years.
I hope everyone fairs well. Good Luck!

  2. f4741 3rr0r

Well this is sad news, although not altogether unexpected. I really hope all of your other projects go great and that eventually the stars do align and we get to see more of the great ideas that come from you guys. I will keep checking in on the site daily so that when the stars align I know about it. Thanks for everything guys.

  3. No0b-0-rAmA

This is a sad day. I remember when I saw The Leet World for the first time. It was really what brought me into other machinima shows. I’d like to wish you guys a good one, and good luck on your future endeavors!

  4. Firefox

    NOOOO!!!

Don’t sign off! You might never come back!

Jk. But this post seems kind of… empty. But either way, nice to see you guys are still alive. Hoping to see some more vids soon.

  5. moorsey

dudes, the stuff you did over the past years was well worth it, I could watch that over and over!

All things move on eventually, please do keep us updated on anything else you guys get up to, a lot of people would love to see it!

  6. Robotails

It’s a shame to see you guys go i really enjoyed Leet world and web zeroes Leet world is and always been my favorite machinima I hope you guys make a come back one day…. πŸ™

  7. Dunnerski

I love the Leet World still. I actually just got done showing my friend the series. She cried when player died, just like everyone else. It was a good run Eddy, (And the rest who are reading) I hope you guys get to the point in your lives where you have everything you want and excess, cause you guys deserve it.

  8. nelandquinten

Eddy, I know that you probably don’t read your comments often, but please don’t turn a blind eye to this one. I know it’s a lot to read, but hear me out: I’m not gonna make any of this up.

I was just a kid when I got into YouTube. A friend of mine played Counter-Strike, and he got me all in the craze. I saw the trailer to The Leet World back in late 2007, and from the fifth episode on, I was seriously hooked. I told my friends at middle school about it, and I was even devoted to make a fan made trailer about it later [I’m sure you remember that πŸ™‚ ]

In May of 2009, I was in an ATV accident, and my foot got all messed up. I would watched The Leet World and some older episodes of WebZeroes on my iPod and found some hilarious comfort while my foot was recovering in the hospital. This is no joke.

Eddy, your series… your fluent pieces of work that you three pulled off is literately a portion of my childhood. Now in high school, I can gladly say that as a kid, I had some lulz with some weird dudes that I never met. And as well as you, I couldn’t be more proud of Daniel. I’ll soon be pursuing a dream similar to his.

SmoothFewFilms was an excellent, well managed, and uniquely fabricated accomplishment. Seriously take that in; it was a massive devotion to your life.

    Good luck on your novel,
    A humble fan

“I can’t speak for the other guys, but for me, that totally made it worth all of the time we toiled.”
    Made my life.

Nowadays, I can’t count how many times you guys affect my life every day. My e-mail address is “Cortezcardinale1”. My access question on most websites are either about Chet or Bobby King. The screen saver on my cell phone is the SFF logo. There are more, too. It has become so ingrained into who I am that it seems natural.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is that you guys have made a huge impact on my (and, undoubtedly, many other’s) life. I can’t say much else without copying what others have already said, especially nelandquinten, so I’ll end on this:

“That some achieve greatness, is proof that others can, as well.” Abraham Lincoln. You guys achieved greatness on the vast and incomprehensible land that is the internet, and surely those successes will resound throughout your life. But for now, you’ve tossed the ring into Mount Doom. Now go back and enjoy some well-deserved r&r in the shire.

    Respectfully yours,
    A humble fan

This is extremely sad news, you guys are amazing and I have really enjoyed your videos, I wish you all luck, perhaps Rooster Teeth may invite you guys to join them, that would be amazingly awesome

  11. MrMcStupid

I strongly agree with what Nelan said. Kinda like him, I watched the Leet World/Zeros when I entered grade 9. Watched in right on through till grade 12.

Now I’m graduating… Feels like a kick to the nuts when good things go away.. but it happens. You move and on to bigger and better things.

Well hears hoping I’ll be able to enjoy your future projects, like I did in high school, wile I’m in college.
Even is the stars don’t align properly… I’ll be checking in every day till they do.

Leet world and Zeros will be with me always. Right above RvB [For trolls that means LW is better :P]

Have a good one… You will be missed.

  12. Furbster

I will miss you guys! I’ve been a fan of SFF since Episode 6 of Season 2 of TLW! In my top ten list of shows you guys are ranked at the very top πŸ™‚ ! Of all the things I’ve ever watched, your shows have the highest replay value. I always discover knew memes or allusions every time I re-watch an episode. I decided today to download the 4 TLW podcasts from iTunes after reading this and I may have let go of a few tears from my eyes as I thought of all the awesome memories I had waiting for the next episodes of TLW or WZ πŸ˜€

As I sit here and listen to Triage at Dawn, I draw hope that one day the SFF team will gather again to make another awesome show. :’)

Thank you Eddy, Nick, Daniel, Jace, Kerry, Alex’s boss, Jennifer, Chet, Player, Westheimer, Leeroy, Ahmad, Cortez, Eliis, Montroose, Adam Sizzler, The Producer, Domination Guy, The Ocho Meurtos, Ray, Nate, Alex, Diane, Bobby King and the Hobo.

    I love them all :’)

    Sincerely,
    Sean

  13. Gforce

It was good run, you’re videos helped me through a rough time in my life and for that im grateful. It still amazes me how much time has passed since i first found the second episode of LW and how i immediatly addicted to it like i am table top gaming. However, like everything life, all good things must come to an end, so until the group is reforged i shall miss you.

  14. mjg

I realize I’ve never bean an active member here, but I’ve bean around since the first episode of The Leet World, and I feel I have to say this if this is gonna be your last post for a while:

    You guys are unfreakin believable.

  15. Pwezem

    Good Night, Sweet Prince(s).

To be great is to go on.
To go on, is to go far.
To go far, is to return.
    Welcome Back, Eddy.

Eddy, you and the Guys are utter Genius’. You’ve filled my darkest days with solace, and I’m forever thankful to you for that. Your style of writing, your wit that I can relate to, it’s just Class. I linger from your blog to here, and I listen Religiously to Gamersushi’s Podcasts just so I can hear some Fresh recording of your sensual voices.

You really have inspired me to create something myself. To create some content for the internet; It’s like giving birth, really. Some wise man once told me that. You’re an Oasis of inspiration.

I know you’ll be reading this. I know how much pride you take in your work, and I know you’ll sieve through each of these comments, because I’d do the same. Having so much pride and dedication in your work really drives you to soak up each opinion, good and bad, to give yourself solace. Being a musician, I know how you feel. You’re lucky to have such a flux of positive feedback!

I’ll read your novel. I’ll cherish that thing too.

Being with you every step of the way and religiously following every Outtake and Podcast you’ve released, I feel so close to you that you might feel a little uncomfortable. And you still don’t know my name. But you understand.
    Lulz.

Thank you Eddy. Thank you. You’ve created Masterpieces, and I’m sure you understand that.
Congrats, I hope you feel so accomplished.

You guys had a good run, I thank you guys for the wonderful time we had watching your videos. I love you to guys No Homo. I hope to hear from you guys when you are back at it! Best of luck to Daniel, hope you have great success in L.A.! Thanks for the good times! Forest.

  17. Guardian

You guys had a great run, and you should be proud of that, I guess.

I wish you all the best of luck in whatever you do. If you do get the cast together, we’ll all be here for you.

Again, great job with everything, and I wish you the best of luck.

  18. Santi Koach

    Dear SFF guys,
I had been here since the start of TLW, season 2, and im proud to say it was the nΒ°1 source of bad marks and limitless lulz and fun till the end. i like to think that whem we say Goodbye to something, something even better comes and says “HI”. im pretty sure one day i’ll go to the cinema, and see the SFF logo shining again on the big screen.
TLW was a mayor success, great writing, performance, voice acting and amazing storyline. i’ll never forget Player’s “y u h8”, nor cortez’s “burro” quotes.
WZ was also an awesome show, a simple 3 episode experiment became one of my favorite series, and the fact that it had a schedule made it even better, as we didn’t have to wait 2-3 weeks per episode. it was the 1st REV3’s scripted show, and the first live action series on the internet that i liked and loved.
All in all, i think this isn’t a loss, im sure SFF wont shut down yet, and if it does, it will return someday on the big screen. i think this was predicted. these days many machinima and film makers are disappearing, first was Lit Fuse Films, then Xanatos went MIA for a while, now SFF. the only ones that survive are the ones that swim in money (like Rooster teeth), and the 1 man cheap machinimas (like Accursed Farms or HHerlevDB).
i just hope the whole machinima genre doesn’t collapse like the makers do, im gonna be pissed if machinima looses its touch and becomes just a footnote in the history of cinematography.

Good luck in your future endeavors,
    Santi Koach, 420th LB

    Hey guys,
I’ve been here since day 1. I was shown the first trailer for The Leet World by a friend months before the first episode came out, and was hooked ever since. I’ve converted a few people on the way, and it was a good run.

I’ve known for a while this was going to happen: you guys couldn’t keep up making free content indefinitely and I wasn’t sure Revision3 could give you guys a sustainable income.

I just wanted you to know you had an impact. You filled a void in entertainment that kept me going. Its sad to see you go; I had hoped that when i got yo Uni I would still be watching SFF, a little reminder of my past. But all things must change. It kinda bumms me out that the day i find out that i got accepted to the Uni of my dreams, I find this post announcing your demise. Ah well, life goes on i suppose. If they end up canceling Fringe i’m gonna be up shit creek though.

I have one last request of you: can you release the least of the music from TLW and Web Zeroes? The stuff so far has been amazing, and I’d love to hear more.

    Thanks for the ride,
    Stuart

  20. Jenn

It’s sad to hear you go, but it will be worth it and this was a stepping stone of your life. Enjoy it! Maybe i’ll bump into Daniel in L.A.

  21. fruit202

It’s been over a week since this update has been posted and I’ve just read it….
Now i feel like i lost a good friend and didn’t find out until a week later =(
I’ve never expressed myself much, in fact I think I’ve only commented once before, but believe me when i say that your creations have left a deep impression on me and my friends. To this day we quote lines from The Leet World.
I personally consider the cast of The Leet World has influenced my life in the same ways as other legendary icons such as Superman, Son Goku, Gandalf, Yoda and the likes.
And I know just because smoothfewfilms is dead, for now at least, you guys will still be around. And I look forward to see what all you guys produce in the future.

P.S. Would it be possible to make a Leet World reference in your novel Eddy?

    1. Eddy

Just wanted to let you guys know that we’re reading these and really appreciate all the kind words. I’ve always read all the comments even if I don’t always respond to them.

  22. DarkRook

    Thanks for the memories.

I started watching SFF when I was in 7th Grade. I still go back and watch it now and then. They are a huge part of why I got into machinima.

The Bag Boy, A Day in the life of a turret, Leet World. All fantastic machinimas. Good luck with your future endeavors.

It was a fantastic run, and you influenced a lot of lives. Great job, and do what you love.

    Sincerely,
    A Fan.

  23. Santi Koach

i like the fact that u read our comments… not like others i wont mention….

its sad to see you go, but im sure some day SFF will rise again, somehow, maybe with some other, weird name, like idk… ass kickin films, or as a tweaked SFF. i just hope if you guys become big budget actors you wont become selfish assholes like most of the people in the cinema/TV
    business…

  24. iLurvePlayer

When I read the first sentence of this post I turned to my brother, who also loves you guys, and said “I think I’m going to bawl my eyes out.”
But really you guys had a great run and I hope someday that gets to continue. I remember the first time my brother showed me leet world and I laughed hysterically even though he said your a girl you wont like it! now my siblings and I are Player, Ellis, Chet, and Ahmad so we have Leet World in our lives forever thanks to you!
Also I will never forget the first time I almost peed myself watching your awesometacular webshow Web Zeroes!
Good luck in life and thanks for all the memories πŸ™‚

-I remember my friend telling me that this is comparable to rvb and i said “no way” then became addicted to watching every episode as soon as it was out. Then after season 2 was over i re-watched both seasons multiple times. Thanks for the epic inside jokes and laughs!

  26. sdematt

Let me put it this way. I haven’t posted since the site was still called The Leet World, but I figured since this is the last hoorah, I better log-in and post.

I’ve been watching you guys since the first episode of the Leet World was linked from the Steampowered forums. I really enjoyed the Leet World, as well as WebZeroes. I just wanted to say you guys gave some solid entertainment, and took me away from the real world for a good time, usually twice a month for a very long time. For that, thank you very much.

As well, you answered one of my questions in your first or second Podcast, so thanks for that as well πŸ™‚

I also managed to connect with several friends from CounterStrike who recognized my username from in-game, and that was kind of cool, since I hadn’t played with them in years.

For all the entertainment, hard work, and time, thanks guys.

    -Matt

  27. AntraxXx

I will probably sound like the biggest douche….. I registered just to say my goodbye to you guys …. Although i never registered i followed you from the start and The Leed World was epic , the best show i have ever seen anywhere . Web zeroes was also awesome , but The Leet World rocked MY WORLD πŸ™‚ I am really sorry that i have been a lurker all this time and never even said out loud my most warmth apretiation of what you guys did for US- the community . Really you guys are the best . When i am down or sad i just open a few episodes of The Leet World , and instantly i get happy πŸ™‚ I wish all you guys the best of best in life and I really hope that this isn’t the end of things . It was fun while it lasted . Really sorry that i am contributing my thanks right at the end of things but i figure , better late than never to let you know that there is one more fan that loved your work . Have an awesome life guys . Goodbye ;(

With love (no homo) August from bulgaria πŸ™‚

    Danny, Nick, and Eddy…
Man, its hard to believe this may be the end.
I almost teared up when i read this. And I’m in the middle of class lol. That could have been bad. Either way, I’ve been following TLW and WebZeroes for a decent amount of time. I remember coming home on wednesdays and eagerly looking at the iTunes store for the next installment of WebZeroes in the Podcasts section. I was hoping you guys would start a new season in either area, but i guess it was for not. I just wanted to say thanks for all of what you guys have done for us and I’m sure the rest of the community can agree with me.

  29. rosar098

    Guys,
Thanks for so much. I loved The Leet World, Life in the Day of A Turret, etc. and I’m going to miss all that. You were geniuses, and I admire you. I hope Daniel does well, and wish all of you the best. Thank you for all the sacrifices you’ve made along the way.
    Sincerely,
    Anonymous Fanman

  30. hexplode11

You guys did great! You worked very hard and you kept going despite setbacks and personal constraints. It’s a good of a time as any. After putting so much work, it’s hard to not get burnt out. I feel the same emotions as the others who commented before me.
However, I was somewhat confused by this update as well. You guys still have completed material (such as the soundtrack songs and what not) that you can release. Maybe it’s something that you can update on during this indefinite hiatus?
Nonetheless, good times were had. You guys are the original masters of machinima. Considering the garbage Machinima.com spews out every week, I always yearn for the good old days, when there were good shows. You guys went above and beyond in the machinima world, providing humor and an intriguing storyline all at once. I appreciated the style you used for TLW. No high contrast video editing, shaky camera angles, and other cliche things in the moviemaking book of tricks. You had a story and you told it in the best way possible. I will admit that I wasn’t a big fan of Web Zeroes, as it is a large step away from the style of Leet World. But, to each his own.
I will be following Gamersushi and your blog to hopefully stay updated on what’s new. After all, I was the one who posted a comment on one of your entries under the name “Babylon”. The one that you said was in your “personal blog queue”. Still says it’s awaiting moderation, but I don’t think it’s relevant now. Good luck on your novel and overall in life. I hope the few smooth men gather up at least one more time and make something awesome.

  31. HotSauzale

Everyone has already said it, I Will miss you guys. I don’t think ill be the only one who will watch the leet world again. Thanks for everything

  32. unEpicD

I feel like everything that I feel has already been conveyed into words by everyone else, but I must say it.

You guys are awesome. Plain and simple.

I can’t remember when I first saw the leet world, but I do remember I fell in love with it instantly. It was just something new and interesting, specifically because machinima was new at the time. I sat, enamored, and jittery just waiting for the next episode to come out. I have watched the entire series (both leet world and web zeroes) multiple times, and laugh so hard. It just never gets old.

To hear this is sad, but I do know that when you guys return it will be better than ever, epic even. Because of that, I will be sitting here waiting for you guys, because it’s totally worth it.

I just wanted to say thanks for all of the memories, and inadvertently getting me through some tough times over the years, and giving the internet such an awesome gift.

    Stay classy guys.

  33. Sir_Godspeed

Wow, I… uhm.. just wow. This wasn’t all too easy to read.

I’m one of those many, many people who never commented much I’m afraid (I might have like three comments total) but I zealously watched and rewatched every episode of Web Zeroes and TLW, as far back as the third episode of the first TLW season. I had the “Yee-eah” theme song as my ringtone for a long time – both the original and the remake. πŸ˜›

I’ve listened to the hilarious outtakes, the podcasts and I’ve followed what’s going on over at gamer sushi (especially whatever has to do with oldie games). So while you are now putting SFF to rest, just make sure that you realize that you have created something here that isn’t going to end anytime soon.

The guys who’ve commented here did it because they felt obligated to make sure you knew just how good what you made was, and still is, and what kind of an impact you had on people. That says something.

Good luck in your future endeavours. And for God’s sake; keep us updated whenever something big happens. We WANT to know.

    Until next time, Danny, Nick, and Eddy, and all you other wonderful people;

    “Boot World”

    I’m just teasin’ πŸ˜‰

  34. haxthias

Good luck with all of your future endeavors, I’ve enjoyed everything you guys have made for us and I’ll keep checking back, just to see. πŸ˜‰

  35. supermoneyman

You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for the ride of both TLW, and Webzeros. TLW was the best machinima story and best machinima ever done in my opinion. And I am hoping we will get to see that or Webzeros again later on. (maybe just a short)

I am allitle late on reading this post. But i was not expecting it at 6 in the morning. And to be honest, i teared up allitle when I read “we had a good run” But, you guys should continue your lifes and have fun. Im sure if Daniel makes a movie, ill see it in theaters. If you Eddy wright a book. Ill buy it first day it comes out. If Nick does… When Nick completes…
hmm… When you see Nick, tell him I said goodjob.

    Goodbye for now you guys

  36. supermoneyman

  39. louddoves

I just did the same thing as supermoneyman. Ive been a huge fan of the leet world since the first episode and it breaks my heart as well to see this. I just watched the entire series again in the last two days and it reminded me of how brilliant you guys really are. Thank you. Thats all i can say. Thank you for the time and sacrifice you put into making something great for all of us.

  40. H-Bomb

I may have posted once before, however I feel this must be said.

TLW has been a major part of my life. In fact, the only low point for me was that, in Britain, there was going to be little to no way to get to that meet ‘n’ greet you guys held. TLW holds its place as the only series on my MP4 player in full, so I can watch it on buses and when bored, it even got me through hospital for a broken leg.

This has been one of my all time favourite, if overquoted (however I can never do Westheimer quite right), things ever. Something that I slip into conversation when I talk to someone new to check if they know it, so I can brofist them to the heavens if they do.
The rest of the soundtrack would be lovely, so I can relive the memories at any time.

My only hope is that you guys do something together some time in the future and that I’m lucky enough to see it. If not, I’ll always have this gem you left us.

    Thank you.

  41. Krekers

Ohh i coud cry this was the best web series i did watch.
I was here from the begining trying to support your talanty.
All of people of Latvia will cry about this.
You guys were awsome to watch. Each time im sad i think about Leet World how it made mi cry and laugh.
    I Will always remeber it.

    Best regards

I love you guys so much.

    Enjoy your future endeavours πŸ™‚
I can only assume you read my post on the forums, before they got taken down

  45. justinp94

I just finished season 2 and I gotta say I’m immensely devastated. I wish there was a season 3.
This was just like when captain price died in COD 4.
Maybe it’s just me who just takes to heart in my games in shows. It feels like i knew these guys and they died man. It feels like they died. I really wish you guys would reconsider a season 3. Believe it or not your impact to this community has been very big. Season 3 would be like the best. It’s just maybe sad that Season 2 Episode 14 will probably (hopefully not) be the last we ever see of
Chet , Player , Montrose , Ellis , Westi , Cortez , Leeroy and Ahmad.
They were amazing and so are you guys.
I really hope that one day you guys could continue this wonderful series. but til’ then i guess we just have to see what happens.

Finally recovered my account so that I could toss my hat into the ring. I can’t say you helped me through a rough patch or nothin, but I can say is that you brought a lot of laughter to everyone I know and influenced who I am as a person. I really can’t say anymore than has already been said in these tons of heartfelt paragraphs of text I just needed to say my peace and let ya know you got much love from upstate ny.

I wish you all the best in future endeavors and present ones as well. Don’t forget no matter where you go this is where it all began we’ll all be right behind you remindin ya’.
    sorry textwall,
    Matt
p.s. don’t forget the movie when you’re world famous!

Wow, this is quite a hole in my heart I must say.
I remember watching this till episode 5, stopping, getting my brother, and watching all of season 1 and most of 2 in a single sitting. And then frequently checked in on, and watched all the new episodes till the end. Afterwards, holding on to what was left of TWL by watching WebZeroes, but then that ended and there was nothing left but a few shorts… Looking back, I wished I had watched the series less frequently as to spread it out (and to avoid having a heart attack from pure awesomeness) to make it last longer, rather than gulping it down in one sitting much like Chet with a 6-pack of booze.

@Daniel, I wish you and Jace a successful career in hopes that stacks of money in sizes of vans will one day sit in your warehouse of gold.

@Eddy, Good luck on your novel, can’t wait to read it so make sure you get us all an amazon link so we might have something to do besides watching TWL’s inferior competeing machinimas.

@Nick, Didn’t see anything about where your off too and what your doing, but wherever you may be (or be going) and whatever you end up doing, may Kevin Rose always be with you, And make sure you get you daily fill of lolcats.

I tried to post this on the youtube channel even though they probably won’t check either of these.

Back in late 09/Early 2010 my mother was pretty ill so we stayed in the house, played video games and watched Leet World/ Web Zeroes. well come the week of christmas 2010 she passes away. So for no better way to say it your videos have more memories in them than video games from my childhood.
So I’m keeping the dream alive the best I can. The point is if possible do a goodbye VLog or one last holiday special of Leet World. You guys also inspired me to start doing youtube videos again, i’m gonna try to sign up for Pixelenemy Revive. Meaning I would do Battlefield Commentary. So to finish this up two questions, who Played as Player throughout TLW and who was Leeroy’s voice actor?
I’ll miss you guys you all were basically the last of my mother’s life. Well to you guys best of luck in the future with any and all projects.

Wyatt, thanks so much for your response. It really meant a lot to all of us. Very sorry to hear about your mother, man.

Well, it’s been a few years since I was really following you guys. I’ve been exposed to countless machinimas of every type since then, and The Leet World is still one of my ultimate classics – I’ve been doing my best to spread it around.

I kind of lost interest when you switched to live action, not because it was bad, but just because it didn’t click with me the same way.

Still, from a personal perspective I feel your pain. You guys had a great run and it sounds like a group of good friends working their assess off practically for free – just for the creativity and the satisfaction.

It’s a shame to see you dissipate, yes, but I’ve no doubt you’ve all got bigger and better days ahead of you. Look back fondly on a great few years and some work you can really be proud of. For that, I thank all of you and wish you well.

TLW and Web Zeroes were 2 of the best web series ever. TLW now took me where i am, with my own studio, my movie making pals (who are lazy buggers) and a new dream: become almost as influential as you were to other people. i started the BG2 Machinima Studios around 1&1/2 months ago, and we started production of our 1st video around may 20th. now i realize why it took you so damn long to make each episode: the skinning, mapping, organizing, editing, yelling at people, raging, laughing, having fun and being proud of yourself takes a long while.

  52. Aekeos

This saddens me, but I understand.
I don’t want this to come off as demanding, but what about that TLW podcast awhile back that ended abruptly like the Sopranos ending? Sure Daniel moved, but podcasts can be recorded on Skype or something. Maybe this is just a fan’s dream, but it’d be cool.

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for responding Eddy.
It really means the world to me and my tired body and soul.
Anyway, i am actually planning on getting a podcast up soon and I will mention Leet World and Web Zeroes. It was and still is one of the largest inspirations in nearly all of my creative works I’ve made. Also since I’ve learned more about machinima making and editing. I have truly come to be amazed at the the subtle details and camera angles in Leet World. It’s made me realize how much work you all put into such a noble and amazing project. Maybe one day I’ll come across you guys, it’s far more likely I won’t however. Either way may fate bless you all in your journey throughout both internet fame and real life success. Sorry for the Wall-o-text I created but I needed to reply to you Eddy. So for the next few months I say Goodbye.
