Machinima for Charity, One Shared Vision

Just wanted to give you guys a head’s up about One Shared Vision, a totally sweet machinima project put together by several machinimakers in the community, with the goal of letting people know about Child’s Play, a charity that donates games to children in hospitals.

Each week, a new machinima will be out, promoting Child’s Play and also providing some bueno holiday entertainment and/or lulz. That’s a proper film making term, be tee dub.

Smooth Few Films is a part of this project, and you will see a short from us later this month. It might star some of your favorite TLW dudes.

    I hate to say it, but this film sucks. It’s not very funny.

    You guys could do WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better. Like 80 times better.

    I love the idea of One Shared Vision, but they are gonna need a lot more machinima makers to pull off something huge.

    Child’s Play, however, is awesome (run by the guys at Penny Arcade). They raise like a billion dollars every month. It’s so awesome (because that money helps out little-ish kids that are sick [and that’s awesome]).

    Well, it’s not a competition, and it’s all for a good cause, so there’s no need for the negativity. We’re not trying to raise a ba-jillion dollars for Child’s Play, just want to get the machinima community aware and hopefully, involved.

    Personally, I find the ending hilarious. Head banging!

    I don’t know about you but i thought it was funny at most parts and all they were trying to do was make a short story and put the Child’s play in. And yes Eddy the ending did slay me too lol!

    Yeah, Child’s Play is a ridiculously cool charity, put on by the Penny Arcade dudes, as Ninja pointed out. They really do a lot of good for a lot of kids.

    I thought this was good as well. It’s easy to get annoyed by it but, like The Office humor, annoying people are funny people and its funny to see the one realistic guy’s expression be it “Oh Em Gee!” or “Dubs Tee Eff?”

    But off course… looking forward to youz guyz vid the most.

    This is pretty cool. Hope this charity thing makes a lot of kids happy. Also, if I recall, new WebZeroes this week.(ish)
