It’s finally here. The Season Finale of The Leet World, “Death Comes Home“, Part One, is now available. Parts Two and Three will be coming over the next two weeks.
This is a proud moment for Smooth Few Films, as not that many machinimakers have completed a lengthy season of a series like this. Once again, thanks for hanging in there and being so supportive. Part One gets the ball rolling for what will hopefully be an exciting conclusion to the first season.

A little bit disapointing, from the trailer I was expecting all out action in the first episode but it was still a good set up episode. My expectations are high for part 2+3. “Island of Possibilities”? A cliffhanger ending with some contestants escaping from the muertos onto an island and some left behind to the mercy of Mendoza perhaps?[Man that was a mouthful].
The “A fate worse than death” comment from Mendoza might support thi”I told you never to use my name”. Bang Bang. ……………

Great first half of this episode.
I really enjoyed it, and it had some solid humor.
Second, I really love how both Mendoza, and the Producer are very powerful man. (at least so it seems), yet they dare to opposite each other. (I hope that made sense)
Anyway, I really like that concept.
Its “scary” to think of one, as the superior. Even though the producer seems a little bit more stronger.
And last, I frigging love the accent of all the Ocho Muertos and Cortez.
Keep it up guys. This is awesome!

This is my first reply, (cut this) —and I am glad to be the first to reply to the 1st part of the season finally— (when i tried last night I was the first one, but it failed). OMG this has got me soo wanting the next part, but now I have to wait another week… AGHH.
You guys do such a great job, with the storyline, the speech/acting and everything else. The music fits perfectly and, evokes emotion at appropriate times. The new graphics card has been something that I have found hard to get used to, but I have been trying to ignore it (if you think about it, it has been like how many eps with the other colouring and now it is ‘bluer’, ‘yellower’ and more colourful…
But overall, I love this series, and am very excited for the release of the next part.

the leaders fight, ocho muertos try to take the house over but get defeated something during the leader battle looks bad but domination guy comes back to save the day somehow, and some of our favorite characters leave the show 🙁 that is my guess, but great job throughout the whole season, thanks for the laughs

The plan was originally to do a new intro to fit the song, but some unexpected stuff happened that I’ll talk about in the next update.

I think you guys are getting more into the storyline and less about funny stuff about cs and online chatspeak etc. Are you guys doing it on purpose or accident? Like the first few episodes were funny as hell, but then it just got more serious.

i’m surprized that Mendoza didn’t at least flinch when the producer used his name at the very end. still, marvelous episode, made myself laugh again.
You guys really should be proud, not only are you completing a season as you said but you’re completing a really great season. This episode is no exception, it held my attention all the way to the end except for the times where I broke out into uncontrollable laughter.
The promise of another new episode in a week is also welcome news. I can’t wait for part two and I’m sure it’ll be just as awesome as this one was, if not more.

Thanks for the feedback, man. We’ve said it a hundred times before that we’re more focused on story and character than telling jokes. Don’t worry, we like telling jokes, but never at the expense of a good story. I think we learned some good things from this season, and Season 2 will be all the better for it.

Great job guys, this was a great part of the episode, but I must admit that I miss the whimsical parts of early season, so it’s good to see them still pop up every now and then, good job.
Also I would’ve liked to see a special intro to the cool “dance”-theme, but you’ve already told us that there’s a good reason for it, so I won’t bitch about it.

I know that some of the episodes became a bit less funny when the drama got turned up but i think they were all well balanced and there was some good comedy in all of them. As for this episode… i think it absolutley kicked ass. I dont know how people dont think it was that funny, i was litteraly rofling the whole way through i could list about 15-20 great jokes from this ep alone. If i had the power to change any of the episodes i wouldnt touch a single one, i think that they are all perfectly balanced.
Enough of me me beeing a leetworld fanboy but i do mean what i say.

dude, its not 6vs6, its its a 6 vs 4 I think…or 4vs4…becuz i dont really get the idea of the three way battle……is it only the leaders going? or with the 2nd in command also? like cortez with montrose or the oldman and Leeroy????but still it aint 6vs6…..the ocho muertos got only 4 or 5 now………1 were killed by mendoza and one by Cortez…but the cortez was funny LOL

On the comedy thing – I like the balance that has been achieved here.
It is similar to the balance achieved by Rooster Teeth (the guys who do Red vs Blue).
You can’t just have an episode full of jokes. The focus has to be on the story with elements of comedy weaved in.
Consider it a mix of drama and comedy. A dramedy if you will. Or a comrama.

But, other than that, not bad. My hat is off. You have a interesting plot twist and a crap-load more characters to use to tell it. How you execute it will prove your worth. And You Guys should be proud that you’ve reached this point, the end of season. I can count on one hand the amount of people that have made it to this point. And you have as much experience as they did when they got to this point, even though you have better equipment.
Its good to see some original content on the internet, its rare today to see it. And for that i applaud you. But one thing you might work on is consistency. Your characters have shifted, and this may be due to the situation they have managed to get themselves into, but its distracting. For Example you have Chet saying to Player “that was a dick move brah”. But according to the entire season he wouldn’t have reacted even close to this. Chet was in it for the beer and women, and no he has honor (and morals) that seem to sprung up from nowhere. You could argue that they were there all along (according to his bio at least) but that’s not how he’s acted on the show. And in my opinion you tell a man by his actions and not his past.
In fact almost all the changes I’ve seen in the characters has been so that it better fits the bios. So here’s my question to you: Were the Bios written after or before the Plot was? And if they were written after (which is perfectly fine), are you letting them control your characters actions or change your previous vision of the characters?
The film techniques are getting a little lazy as well. I understand that you have a lot to include in every scene, and maybe you are even rushing because of the demand for new episodes, but it just seems to be lacking. I’m not a film major, but i know that each shot needs to be lined up perfectly so that the shot leads the viewer deeper into the minds of the characters.Your best shots are ones of suspense and surprise. however, you need to work on capturing groups of people and some of the witty “one-liners”.
If i have more feedback I’ll make sure to make another pass here. But for now enjoy all the sheep in this thread.

Like Waffleboy said, Cortez and the other Spanish-speaking characters on the show are so much funnier when you know Spanish.
Occasionally I notice a few things that don’t seem like they’d actually work out being said too well in spanish, but it’s still funny. I still remember knowing that “making them our vacas” on the second challenge was “making them our cows,” mainly because that was the most random word in our school’s spanish book.
Two thumbs up, but this episode seemed to be more preparation than actual episode. Preparing the audience for the second part of the episode, getting in some more needed character development before the last part of the season, making sure the audience is familiar with the fact that the last challenge will be different than the other challenges along with new characters being introduced (into the show, not bios), and I noticed this toward the beginning. This is just something that let me down, I was hoping more in my long wait for Leet World’s finale, though it was still funny as hell. I liked the episode, I just wanted more, you know? Well, I have something to look forward to on Monday.
I can’t wait to see who wins the last challenge, I’m hoping for the CT’s, but then I almost don’t because of how Westheimer was kinda a douche to Cortez, jumping right into the whole Ocho Muertos and Medo….Cortez’s brother thing. I root for Player and Chet, though now Player was turned into a douche by Chet and his nevar apologizing strategy. Anyways, you’ve done a great job with the series, don’t let me down on Monday!

Have to make a second comment sorry. I noticed something I didn’t see the first time I watched the episode.
The producer says, and I quote, “Minus the obvious exceptions the stars of my show must not be killed” @ 9:07. I Stress exceptions, in the plural. This must mean that the producer made a deal with cortez’s brother that he could kill some of the contestants, the “exceptions” of “the stars of the show”. Cortez is probably one, but who else could possibly be an “exception”?

I love this show so much… I just hope Chet doesn’t die. He’s my favourite character. FOR REALS, bra. Nick? You want Chet to live, right? In a way he was, automatically jumping in on the situation and capturing him and everything, to me it seemed like a bit of a douce move when you know more off of the base info. than Westy did.
And I poorly stated “Player being turned into a douche by Chet.” I meant he pointed it out when you just thought of Player’s moves as comedy and the way he said it made you feel Player was a bad person D: PLAYER FTW >:D
