Nom-Nom-Nominations

If you’re unaware, there are two super-cool things happening in the machinima world in November.

  • Machinima Filmfest in New York. If you’re interested in presenting your piece for a variety of awards including Best Short, Best Writing, Best Director, etc., you’d better get cracking.
  • Machinima Expo takes place in Montreal the very next week. There, selected works will be displayed to an audience of thousands.

For those machinimakers out there, this is a great chance to get some exposure and if you’re in the area of these events, I’m sure they’d be cool to attend. I hope to attend Machinima Filmfest myself.

    They have. It’s in the next update. It’ll replenish your health by 120 however you’ll be vunerable for 4 seconds and it’ll replace your shotgun

    I talked about this in a recent update. Daniel is out of town for a couple more weeks, so we can’t record anything like that until he gets back. Once he comes back though, we’ll start cranking those things out.

    Hey, thanks for mentioning our Festival! Once aspect of our festival that is different from the MFF is that there is no time limit on when the film was created. It does not have to be created in the last year. And your film does not have to be 100% real-time, only 25& the rest can be live action or composite or anything you like.

    And every film selected for screening will be shown publicly at least twice. We will have prizes awarded by a jury for 6 exceptional films, one of them will be for outstanding Canadian machinima.

    Why don’t you make your own T-shirts ?
    My mom has a friend that makes T-shirts with pictures.
    I have them put the SFF logo on my 1st.T-shirt and on my 2nd.T-shirt the leet world logo with a picture 😉

    WOW! Machinima Expo. Damn! My little project is only at it’s…well…”sitting on the couch idea” level. I hope that one day my project will be done and rolling and then become as famous as The Leet World. Damn! Just need a new PC. Damn!

    I’m gonna compile all TLW episodes into one big AVI/WMV file, and put them up to download here so people dont have to download each&every episode, they can just download 1 file and have the entire season to watch 😀

    Do you think that this is a good idea?

    If you mean to ask if we’re fans of sending people AWAY from our site for something they can already get AT our site? Then no, we’re not too keen on that. 🙂

    i’m just saying, i could post it here so you guys could put it up on your server in the ‘episodes’ section. I wouldnt mind the trouble editing it (I’d only need to remove the intro/credits. Not much editing involved.)

    You guys could do it yourself if you don’t want me to do it. lol. It would save new fans much hassle, so they wouldn’t have to keep on d/ling ten episodes at once. lol.

    I guarantee you that downloading a huge file (all the eps combined are going to run at least a gig or more) is much worse for bandwidth than everyone downloading random files. Trust me, we’ve thought about these issues, and there’s a reason we haven’t combined our episodes together in the first place.
