Welcome!

This is the new Smooth Few Films home base. Still a work in progress, and you’ll see some new things added in the next few days.

As you can see, there have been lots of changes to the site, though for those of you who are familiar with it, it should feel like home in no time. All of your log-ins should still work just fine, and the forums are in-tact as well. If for some reason you find an issue or problem with the new site, just let us know.

A couple of quick notes:

  • You must register to comment. Spam was getting kind of out of control on the previous site towards the end of the season, and we need to kind of cut some of that down as we move forward, since traffic will be back to normal once we’re releasing videos again.
  • To get a picture next to your name, go sign up at Gravatar. Super-easy, and it helps give you an identity now that you’ve registered.

Web Zeroes should be out within a day or so. It’s been finished for a bit, we just decided we wanted to wait until our new site was done before we rolled it out. Kind of a grand opening, if you will.

Also, be sure to thank Nick and Jeff who did such a good job constructing this whole thing and putting it together while I have played Castle Crashers and Halo 3. They are kind of awesome. The dudes, not the games, but the games too.

    theleetworld.com will still exist as a web address, but only to redirect to smoothfewfilms.com. TLW, G.R.I.E.F. and WebZeroes will all be “parts” of smoothfewfilms.com. SFF is now the mothership. =)

    Personally I don’t like it over the old one. I love leet world and I hope you stick with it as the main show still, I understand there will be others as well but don’t forget the little guy lol. The reason that I dont like it is mainly because I hate change so Never mind my comment for today, haha.

    Thanks for your comments, dude, we appreciate it. Yeah, it’s going to take a little getting used to for me, too. I mean, theleetworld.com was my number one most visited website in the past year or so, so it’s a shock for me too, especially because the color scheme is so different.

    Black and blue is much better for you guys. Makes it feel much more “smooth”. I mean, come on, orange and white? NOT smooth.

    Here’s to you guys. May your future endeavors with TLW, Web Zeroes, and etc. be as successful as… well… you get the point.

    Even if blue and black match Smooth Few Films, orange and white matches The Leet World. They should have left http://www.theleetworld.com/ open, create websites for all their other shows, and use this website as a hub to each.

    It’s not that I don’t like the new site, but why did you have to kill my l33t memories of the old one…

    Well, personally, after looking at orange and white every day for a year, I got a bit tired of it and felt like the place needed freshening up. Sorry you don’t like it, but I’m sure you’ll get used to it.

    As for making sites for each show… that’s just plain crazy, man. Not sure where I’d get the infinite time and resources necessary to manage all of those websites…

    Hmm……I got used to typing Theleetworld.com and im fast at it….now i got to train to type smoothfewfilms.com to be as fast as to type theleetworld.com…..sad isnt it??? well your logo is cool and have been seen in the Leetworld intro…….let me guess whose whose in the logo the middle one is Eddy, the right one is Daniel and the left one is nick, Am I wrong? well good luck with the finishing touch on the website whatever it is you are finishing ;P and hoping to see Web Zeroes soon!

    Oh, have you managed a website for different productions before? I’ll be sure and ask you how you’d do it next time… 😉

    On a serious note, the point of this whole thing was to consolidate and let people know more clearly who we are. Making and managing 3 or 4 different sites would be a waste of our time (doing 1 is work enough) and resources, and it would also further distract from our identity as a production group.

    Sorry JJ and Eddy for what i said, I guess I was kinda hyped up after the sudden realization that theleetworld.com no longer existed. My idea about multiple websites was also stupid. And you’re right, thing’s gotta change.
    Anyways, I can’t wait for G.R.I.E.F. Looks awesome. Web Zeroes looks interesting; I’d like to know more about you guys.

    Question for the Smoothest Few:

    How will this consolidation affect GamerSushi? Will it become an addition to this site? I don’t really mind if it gets made an add-on to “the mothership,” (at least the font /backround color is readable here) I’d just like to know where to go for ma gamez bl0g.

    GamerSushi is a separate deal altogether, since it’s not really a “production” or a series, if that makes sense. However, you’ll see some more prominent links to GS here soon enough, once we add a few more features.

    It will take time, but I’ll get to love this new site soon. The layout is nice n’ easy and that’s good cuz I dont want to have to re-learn how to use the site.

    The new website is exactly what you need. If you have Smooth Few Films on your videos. Not just The Leet World. Then you needed a site for it. Which now you have and this will positively show more of your videos, this way you will separate from The Leet World which is actually needed and now be known for everything you do.
