Dust Busters

Well, I know it’s been a long wait, but “Episode Four: Dust 2 Dust” is finally here. This episode took a little longer for several reasons: 1) Daniel was out of town for a week, 2) one of our computers (mine) no longer runs Steam, so we’re down an “actor”, and 3) we wanted this episode to be the best it could be, so we pushed it back a couple of days to continue to work on it. Typically, we will be releasing every two weeks, and this last wait (which was three weeks plus a few days) will be about as long as they come.

The end result of all of that is an episode we’ve worked pretty hard on, so we hope that you all enjoy it. Anyone that’s played a match of CSS (or any online game for that matter) should get a kick out of it.

Also, Halo 3 had very little to do with the delay. Although, it held up our music a little. Just a little.

    seriously the other episodes were funnier. you guys should work more on the fun part cuz the shootin part just looked like damn rookie pubbers playing around 😐

    Well, we wanted it to be more cinematic, as opposed to an actual match of counter-strike. If it looked exactly like an actual match of CS, it would actually be pretty boring as far as the drama and storytelling goes. Thanks for sharing your opinion, but I personally find that this episode has some of the funnier moments for me.

    I actually think this was the best episode so far. I really liked the gun battles (and how everyone had virtually unlimited clips). It felt like a 10 cent John Woo film… and as well all know all of his best films had smaller budgets. The funny was funny and the action was fun. I do suggest that to keep the action fresh, you don’t use it every episode (which is what you have been doing, so keep doing it). A success!

    and just to set the record straight, the music was only delayed one day because let’s have real talk, how could i write epic masterpieces knowing that halo was waiting for me in the other room. i would not have been able to focus and then you would have ended up with some john williams piece of dook.

    The song in Episode 3 at 7:57, the producers theme as I call it Mr. Dangerous. Thats the one i want, also is it really short? Or did you shorten it for that scene?

    just a suggestion.. i like the 4 episodes a lot but during the action scene like in episode 4.. maybe sometimes.. occasionally u can make use of a first person perspective? for those 1337 shots and extra nub moments… maybe. 🙂 my 5cents

    GREAT JOB! The other episodes were funnier, but it’s like picking between Dominos pizza and Pizza Hut pizza, either way it’s still damn good.

    OMG episode teh_rocks. In latvia it is one of hottest Internet shows which look almoust ewery CS:S player. I and 80% procents of CS:S players in latvia are w8ting Episode 5. Sorry for my language, i am not wery good at english.

    I love your episodes. I’m a 1.6 gamer, been gaming it up on Counter-strike for more than 6 years and to be quite honest, this beats Pubmasters the Movie (which is the funniest movie in CS). Except, these are episodes. Which is even better!
