A “Happy Memorial Day” is in order, I suppose. I think all weekends should be 3 days long by some kind of new Earth law. Also, all burritos should be at least a foot in length. I’d be good at boss-ing the world.
Our next update will have some tantalizing details about the Season Finale. Also, forecasting a high chance of lulz later this week. On to more immediate matters, though.
The entry deadline for the Themetacular Challenge has now passed and the finalists have been chosen. If you weren’t aware, the Themetacular Challenge is our first official contest, where fans submit original covers of The Leet World theme. The winning entry will be played during the intro of the Season Finale.
Overall, we’re proud of the response we’ve gotten from our community. It was definitely a treat to hear some of the stuff you guys came up with- who knew that so much could be derived from a goofy (but cool) intro themetune?
Read on to hear the finalists and the honorable mentions.
Honorable Mention
These were songs that we appreciated the effort on, but for one reason or another didn’t quite make the cut. One entry makes it just for being hilarious.
Jace (Damn Dangerous) also submitted a false entry under a different name that happened to be one of my personal favorites. I later found out that it was made of not only win, but epic lies. Thanks for breaking my heart, Jace. You guys will be hearing that one at a later date. Actually, you’ve already heard it. Kind of.

Lars’s song has a kind of theme to it that you would expect to play in the intro to a show like the leet world, especialy the next episode. And its the kind of song you just want to play over and over again because it sounds so funky its really great i’d rate it 5* so he got my vote!!!.
The more I listen to ChrisTeen’s cover, the more I like it. My vote goes there.

Tbh, they’re all good in their own special way. John’s for examle caters to my metal-addicted tastes. Overall though, I think the one that most suits the show (and a finale episode at that) is Lars’. Can’t wait for that final episode!

A lot of good entries here, and indeed some quite original ones too. I won’t tell which one I voted for, but in all fairness I have to say that no matter who wins, we will have a worthy winner.

I was so close to voting for it, then I realized that the theme song comes after the teaser and what ever uncertainty that existed might be cleared up by the time it plays so I went for Lars’, which before my realization was an extremely close 2nd.
I really think that all these deserve a place in the finals, for example a few of the ones for the credits….. aaron A. would be good for a transition between the characters “packing up” to go home or even the for now goodbye between chet and player….. but yeah you know and will figure out what is best

I vote for djshox, because even though lars’ is pretty good, dj has the best beginning, and it just feels a lot more… epic to me, which is something you really need for a season finale to a series as good as TLW, especially now that all this intrigue and deception is going to be settled with (I would assume) a ton of action and conflict. I dunno, Lars’ just seems too much like a dance tune, or an intro to some anime show, and the (subtle) addition of epic violin notes to djshox’s really sold it for me. Plus, a lot more cool stuff visually could be done with the intro if they used djshox’s (just think about it and you’ll realize what I mean), but with lars’ they’re pretty much stuck with the same intro with a techno beat. They’re both great, but djshox’s would be the better choice IMO.

LOL, I yelled out, “EVERYBODY WANTS LARS!!!” in my math class while the teacher was lecturing us. Nobody in that class knows about this show, which made it even more random. And everybody cracked up, I was sent to the office for the rest of the period, where I used to computers there to watch some of my fave show: The Leet World!!! YEAH!!! Getting in trouble has never been so sweet!
Again, I look forward to Lars’ song in the intro, and ChrisTeen’s in the credits! And I encourage everyone to yell out “EVERYBODY WANT LARS!!!” in grumpy teachers’ classes (if you’re in middle/high school)! And you know it’s good, because it’s endorsed by me, Adam Sizzler! LARS on my opinion is best for intro; it is exciting, action, and you can picture how all the characters going to be introduce in the theme song. Also it have a touch at the beginning and the end. So yeah…LARS would be my vote.
Shox have a really cool beginning, like it trying to tell you “forget the old theme song, this is the NEW LEET WORLD BITCH!!!” so yeah I dig it. But the rest of the song was too slow, less exciting, and too much seriousness, yeah a bit too much serious. The song was really good but it just not fitted for LEET WORLD dopey and retardness character…so this would be 2nd in my vote

DJ Shox and Lars were hard to choose between. DJ Shox did really well. The use of the original theme in the beginning, followed by a cool new theme gave it a really strong message that said ‘What you’ve seen so far in The Leet World is nothing! Now, let’s take it to the max! Get ready for a really pumped up finale!’
In the end, I decided Lars’s song would do a better job as intro. Loved the beat, loved the opening of the song. I’d write more, but I’m kinda swamped with school stuff. Once again, congrats. you all did a great job.
