Hi folks, just a quick note… We’ve been informed by our webhost that they will be moving server clusters tonight, November 30th, starting at 10:00PM PST (GMT – 8). They estimate this process will take about 8 hours, so for those of us living on Central time, it should be fairly painless. For folks in other countries… not so much.

Hey dudes, just letting everybody know that there will finally be people playing in our server again, as I have recently gotten my CS:S up and running. Not entirely sure what the problem was, but part of the way through Episode Four (I measure time by episodes now) my CS:S straight up kicked the bucket. A re-install of Steam did not seem to do the trick, so I actually reformatted my hard drive and went with a fresh install of XP, and now all is well. Look for us to be on every now and then (probably even tonight) at 63.209.36.184:27015. Should be fun.
Also, in gaming news this week: 1000 Gamerpoints in 2 minutes, Super Mario Galaxies is the highest rated game of all time, get Halo 3 for free when you buy a 360, Johnathan Coulton sings that awesome Portal song, Bioware is looking for writers!

Been kind of a crazy day, but thanks to you guys, we managed to hit the front page of digg.com! The site ran a little slower earlier today because of that, but we managed to get a high volume of new viewers here, so that was great. We hope that people continue to enjoy the show. It wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea on digg, but that’s what people on the internet do- they crap on each other. Thanks dudes.

Just a quick update that the high definition download is up and running, and the 640 x 360 quicktime has been updated so that it looks a little smoother. It seems that most people are downloading either the flash or the smaller quicktime one anyway, so it’s all good, though we’d recommend checking out the 1280 x 720 version, as that’s how the show was originally filmed. Seriously, I didn’t realize Source could look so good once we got filming.
Also, it would be way sweet if you went and voted for us on both spikedhumor.com and metacafe.com. We should be up on machinima.com at some point, as well as gwchannel.tv (which is a very awesome CS video website).
Keep spreading the word, and if you check back here in the next couple of days, there could be a fun treat waiting (no, not episode 2, we are merely men). Episode 2 is being worked on, and should hopefully be up in about 2-3 weeks. Don’t quote me on that, though. For reals. I’ll sue.
Good news!
After getting together and watching a new cut of Episode 1, we’ve decided that we will launch our website and first episode this coming Monday, August 6th. We’ve been planning on this date for awhile, but now we know that we can hit it successfully.
On Sunday night/ Monday morning, this blogspot will redirect you to www.smoothfewfilms.com, where you can find the link to the episode. It will be available in a variety of sizes, which is sure to please both the Hi Def and ipod lovers alike. Keep spreading the word about The Leet World, and remember, go sign up for our forum until then!
As we’ve been saying, the release of our site and first episode approaches, and as such, we are attempting to to put together something of a community for the people that stumble into our path. For those of you who are checking up on the process of the show, feel free to head on over to The Leet World Forum, and help us test everything as we get ready. Register, start some topics, interact with us, and that way we’ll have the board somewhat populated in anticipation of the release.
