Storm’s Coming

stormThanks for all the comments on Episode 5. Like I’ve said before, we’re really getting into the swing of things this season. It is getting rather served, as some friendly folks are wont to say.

The story is just starting to get to the good stuff. Two more episodes, and we’ll be sitting on the half way mark of the season. How I wish you dudes knew what was marching relentlessly towards you…

I’ve been playing the junk out of Civilization Revolution lately. For a console RTS, the controls aren’t bad, and it’s actually surprisingly fun. Also, for those of you that played Mass Effect, there is a sequel coming, and the teaser rules.

The last episode ended on a bit of an ominous note. The storm is coming, and we’ve even got a few screenshots to prove it.

Enjoy!

The List is in the Open

The CTU Connection

24Season 7 of 24 is swinging for the fences, and yet again, it is a series dominated by badasses. In the newest escapades of Jack Bauer and company, there are all kinds of crazy plotlines involving political intrigue, the machinations of an evil government, and the action cyborg Keifer Sutherland.

One of these new, exciting plotlines brought back a revamped and slightly more badass version of former CTU agent Tony Almeda, now a terrorist against the U.S. government. We believe we know where they got their inspiration for this character.

Ladies and gentlemen, the evidence speaks for itself. Tony, I know you’ve done some bad things. Cortez has done worse. He can kill you with a single burro multiple times before your body hits the floor.

Oh, and in other news- Episode 5 of TLW Season 2 is out early next week. Woot and such.

More Season 2 Outtakes

micSince Daniel was out of town this weekend, Nick and I did some general house cleaning in terms of production, so that was good. It’s really nice to be ahead this season, and you’ll probably hear me say that over and over again for the next couple of months.

If there was anyway to let you understand the amount of pure getting kicked in the nuts factor that last season’s workload caused for us, I would demonstrate it for you, believe me. But alas, these cursed Intertubes don’t permit that kind of data transfer.

As promised, here are the outtakes from Episodes 3 and 4 of the new TLW season. You know the drill. Us goofing around, messing up, trying to make each other laugh while recording audio, etc. Also, Daniel almost dies.

The Bro Down

fightAs promised, here is Season Two, Episode Four of The Leet World, Fight Nubs, ready for your hungry watching eyes. In this episode, we see the ramifications of a certain cast member’s actions, in more ways than one. It’s definitely got some lol-worthy moments, so I hope you guys enjoy it.

Be sure to visit the Season 2 premiere page to see a higher-res version of the episode. I’m a big fan of the page, and still love Nick to this day for making it. It helps Season 2 episodes feel more like an event, in my mind, which is exactly what we like. Click here to watch it.

Or if you just want to watch it the normal way, the video is waiting for you after the jump.

Traitorous Nerd

portal-turretIs it really almost February? About a year ago at this time, we released the Portal video and got our site shut down by a flurry of visitors, who picked our site clean and left its carcass to dry. And then we moved on to Episode 9 of the first season.

The next episode of Season Two is going to hit in just a few days, so be ready for it. We’re kind of kicking ass production-wise right now. In fact, we’re already doing some pre-production on Episode Six.

Basically, we are slapping episodes with our pimp hands and then riding the wave. Ok, that last stuff isn’t true. Anywho, here’s a poll to ponder in the meantime. Log-in first, and then vote:

The Body Count

We’re happy with Episode Three. Challenge episodes are always interesting because you never quite know how the action’s going to turn out until it all cuts together. It seems many of you enjoyed it however, so thanks for the awesome responses. If you think things are nuts so far, just wait until you see where this season goes.

I have a new favorite topic on our forums right now. Poster “Tigerking” put together a list of how many kills each TLW character has racked up over the course of the show. I’m sure it took him quite a bit of time to come up with his final numbers, and it’s pretty darn impressive. It’s also a good glimpse into the skill levels that we’ve given to each of our characters, because believe me, we really are intentional about when each of them gets a chance to own somebody. So please do yourself a favor and check out the TLW Body Count.

Also, I bring gifts in the form of screenshots from Episode 4. I wanted to bring candy and/or enchiladas, but these tubes that make up the Internet are of an unsettling restrictive nature.

There. It’s not food, but it’ll have to do.

Fuego Factor

And here we are, at our first challenge. We now present Episode 3 of Season 2 of The Leet World, Trial By Inferno. Even if you think you know how things are going to roll in this challenge, don’t be so sure. There are some twists. So far, Season 2 is kicking ass and taking names, and we hope this episode is no exception. Downloads should be up tomorrow.

To get the full awesome experience, we’ve put up Nick’s TLW premiere page to watch the episode at a higher resolution. Go watch it!

Or if you want, you can just watch it at the normal resolution. Video after the jump!

The Leet World Fan Works

tlw203So Episode 3 is going to be here in the next few days. Sweet. And rad.

Thanks for all of you who have voted for us for stuff for the last few weeks. There’s just one week left to nominate Web Zeroes for the Streamys! For a full list of names and such for nominations, check out this link, so you know what all we’re hoping to be nominated for. Once again, only do this if you really think Web Zeroes deserves it. No pressure! But we would super appreciate it.

And speaking of appreciation… Over the course of the last year and a half (wow) that we’ve been battling this raging behemoth of a Counter-Strike machinima known as The Leet World, different fans of ours have shown their devotion and gratitude by getting creative and making tributes. I’ve made a list of a few of our favorites. Check it out after the jump!

Attack of the Threes

The Leet World Season 2, Episode Three should be out some time next week. I know some of you are going a little rabid waiting for it, so thanks for being patient. Basically, because of the holidays and such, we lost a few weekends of filming, which is when most of the work goes into production.

However, we’re all good now. Well, I am. Daniel is still his evil self, with his plots and schemes.

Also, Web Zeroes Episode 3 should be out the week following that. This episode really gets into the stuff we’ve been dying to get to, which is just the three geeks doing their thing. It’s even got orcs, friend requests and mana.

In other news we’ve got a sweet new feature over at GamerSushi, 7 Things a Gamer Should Never Admit. Check it out!

And here’s a fun poll for you dudes to sound off about. Remember, if you’re having trouble logging in, just refresh. Tell us your thoughts!
